St. Mark Catholic School is a  two time recipient of the U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon award.

 St. Mark Catholic School has been selected to represent private schools across the nation by participating in the 2011 administration of the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP).  NAEP is the only ongoing, nationally representative measure of what our nation's students know and can do in key subject areas.  Since 1969, NAEP has provided valuable information on student achievement to policymakers, educators,and the general public.
 
During the 2010-2011 school year, selected students from St. Mark's will have the opportunity to participate in NAEP.  Results from their assessments will be combined with those of other students across the United States and published in The Nation's Report Card.  The report card presents NAEP results and helps decision makers to create systems that better serve the needs of U.S. Students.
 
It is an honor to be one of the schools contributing data that will serve to improve and strengthen the educational options for all of our nation's youth.
